A couple of years ago we published the first 9 volumes of Journey to the West in Traditional Chinese, and many of our readers have asked when we will publish the rest of the series in this format.
So, good news: we have converted all 31 JTW books from Simplified Chinese to Traditional Chinese characters. They are all available on Amazon, and also on our website at a 20% discount. The rest should be finished by end of February. You can see the series list on Amazon here.

I’m glad I found this series when I did, as there really isn’t a lot of intermediate reading material in Traditional Chinese. I recently purchased the first 3 book compilation in Traditional. And I felt it was the perfect length, especially for someone at the intermediate level. Are you guys planning on releasing a 3-book compilation for the rest of the series in Traditional Chinese? Because I would definitely purchase them if you did.

Hi, thanks for your interest in the Traditional Chinese versions of our Journey to the West series.
The Traditional Chinese version of JTW is only available in a series of 31 individual paperbacks, as well as a compilation volume that combines books 1, 2 and 3. We do get requests for the books in ebook format, as well as requests for additional 3-book compilations. However, we have no plans to publish these. Please understand that our Traditional Chinese books are very low-volume, only selling at about 1/10th the volume of the same books in Simplified Chinese. We make very little profit from selling the Traditional Chinese books in their current form, and the cost of converting them to ebook and/or compilation formats, and maintaining them afterwards, is just too high for us.
If you want to read the books in Traditional Chinese, I suggest you go to our Buy Our Books page, and order any or all of the 31 individual books directly from us. We sell at a substantial discount compared to Amazon and other booksellers, and we do not charge tax or shipping even when we ship internationally. (Unfortunately, though, we do not ship to mainland China.)
