We’ve been hard at work finishing up the final book in the Last King of Shang series. This, in case you haven’t been keeping track, is our retelling of the classic Chinese novel Investiture of the Gods, using simpler language to make it more accessible to modern readers. It’s a long, long book, which we’ve split into 6 volumes. Five of the volumes are already published. We’ve finished the sixth and final one, in English, and we’re currently working on the translation into Chinese. Current plan is to publish this last volume by end of September.
In the meantime, though, we have published the complete English-only book, all 100 chapters. If we put all of it into a single volume it would run around 750 pages, so we split it into two halves. The first half, called cleverly enough “Investiture of the Gods, Part 1” was published last year. The second half, called, as you might have guessed, “Investiture of the Gods, Part 2“, was just published today!
It’s available in both paperback and ebook formats. The paperback is now available on Amazon. The ebook is also available on Amazon and several other ebook publishers.
